Egypt faces a range of natural hazards, including floods, earthquakes, and sandstorms, with the densely populated Nile Delta posing additional challenges for disaster management. Between 1980 and 2010, floods alone affected over 262,000 people, causing 1,527 fatalities and $1.34 billion in economic losses annually. This project aims to visualize the recorded disasters in Egypt from 1970 to 2018, categorized by disaster type.
